Welcome back to your weekly map of where capital is moving across artificial intelligence, robotics, and the infrastructure underneath both.
This week’s capital moved in three tightly connected directions: enterprise control, specialized data, and production infrastructure. Cybersecurity platforms Cyera and Island each landed $400 million, Snorkel AI pulled in $350 million for complex model-training data, and healthcare, cloud, biotech, recruiting, and physical-AI data companies filled out a globally distributed board.
Chemical-Free Farming Is Now Open To Investors
For decades, farmers have relied on herbicides and heavy equipment to control weeds.
Greenfield Robotics is working to change that.
BOTONY robots navigate crop rows and mechanically remove weeds, giving farmers an alternative to blanket herbicide applications and intensive tillage.
The potential benefits are significant:
Clean food supply
Reduce reliance on agricultural chemicals
Reduce unnecessary soil disturbance
Help farmers protect crops from weed competition
Support more sustainable farming practices
And the market is enormous.
Greenfield estimates more than 250 million acres of broadacre cropland in the U.S., with more than 100 million acres in its initial serviceable market.
With the Reg A+ now live, investors can participate in Greenfield Robotics' growth story.
This Reg A+ offering is made available through StartEngine Primary, LLC, member FINRA/SIPC. Please read the Offering Circular and related disclosures before investing. 🦄 Startups to Watch:
Realset AI (Series A) — Real demonstrations from homes, warehouses, and light industrial environments address the data gap between simulated robot behavior and reliable physical-world execution.
Spott (Series A) — Its AI-native ATS and CRM design gives recruiting agencies a path to automate administrative work without layering agents onto fragmented legacy systems.
Sol (Seed) — The former Cred team is targeting proactive assistance, shifting the interface from answering prompts toward anticipating and completing tasks.
OpenDebt (Seed) — Debt recovery is a high-volume, regulated workflow where conversational AI can produce measurable cost savings but must also prove sensitivity and compliance.
Verda (Series B) — The Finnish company is building a vertically integrated European AI cloud at a moment when compute availability and data sovereignty are both strategic buying criteria.
🤝 Mergers & Acquisitions
Databricks → Row Zero – Databricks announced the acquisition on September 24 to add Row Zero’s scalable, governed spreadsheet interface to Genie, its enterprise AI coworker.
Adobe → Topaz Labs – Adobe completed its acquisition of the AI image- and video-enhancement company on September 23; the transaction was originally announced June 25, and Topaz products will remain available as standalone offerings.
📡 Signals – What This Week Tells Us:
Control planes are becoming the enterprise AI battleground. Cyera and Island together accounted for $800 million as companies buy security and governance for data, users, browsers, and autonomous agents.
Better models increasingly require better environments, not just more tokens. Snorkel AI and Realset AI raised for expert datasets, reinforcement-learning environments, human demonstrations, and evaluation grounded in real work.
Vertical agents are moving into consequential workflows. Heidi, Spott, Mirai, and OpenDebt target healthcare, recruiting, bank risk, and collections—categories where automation can produce measurable returns but errors carry real costs.
Europe’s AI stack is broadening. Verda, Basecamp Research, Spott, and Mirai span compute, AI biology, recruiting infrastructure, and banking software across Finland, the UK, Belgium, and Spain.
The robotics bottleneck is still intelligence and data. Realset’s round, paired with the absence of a major robot-hardware raise, shows capital targeting the demonstrations and evaluation systems needed to make embodied models reliable.
Beyond the Feed
Five million industrial robots now operate in factories worldwide — The International Federation of Robotics reported on September 24 that the global operational stock rose 9% in 2025, while annual installations climbed 11% to more than 600,000 units.
Boston Dynamics opened an Atlas testing ground at Hyundai’s Georgia plant — The facility will train humanoids on automotive-manufacturing tasks, moving Atlas another step from controlled demonstrations toward production deployment.
